From two different areas of the country, with two different home backgrounds, the first two female justices of the US Supreme Court have made their mark. Addressing many issues, including abortion, sexual harassment, affirmative action and employment discrimination, Sandra Day O’Connor(retired) and Ruth Bader Ginsburg challenge the male-dominated legal profession as they sit (and sat) on the bench of the highest court in the land.
